Overview
To add a Microsoft 365 mailbox as a channel to a team inbox in Yablo, please follow the instructions below. Please note that Yablo supports both user and shared mailboxes, but currently only supports mailboxes hosted on Exchange online. Exchange on-premise is not supported.
Instructions
Complete the following steps to start adding a new Microsoft 365 mailbox to one of your team inboxes.
- Go to your team inbox in Yablo
- Click the Inbox menu and select "Manage Inbox" from the dropdown menu
- Navigate to "Channels" in the settings dialog
- Click the "Add channel" button
- Select "Microsoft 365 Mailbox" as channel type
Enter email address
You are now asked to enter the email address of the mailbox you want to connect. Make sure to use the primary address of that mailbox. Click Next to proceed.
Select connection option
There are two supported methods for authenticating with the mailbox in Yablo: using mailbox credentials or using user credentials.

Using mailbox credentials (recommended): In this option, you use the credentials of the user associated with the mailbox you want to connect. For example, if you want to connect support@mycompany.com, you would use the credentials of the user with the username support@mycompany.com.

Using user credentials: In this option, you use the credentials of the current user. This user needs to be a member of the mailbox you want to connect and must have Full Mailbox Permissions. Please note that in order to use this option, your tenant admin needs to give consent first (see Admin consent).
Authenticate
Click the "Authenticate" button to authenticate with an Office 365 account.
Once successfully authenticated, the channel will created and added to the team inbox. You're now ready to send and receive email messages using your connected mailbox.
Import old emails
Please note that Yablo does not import old emails from your inbox. Only new sent and received emails will be displayed in your Yablo inbox.
Admin consent
If you wish to authenticate with your mailbox using the current user's credentials, please note that your tenant admin needs to provide consent first. Yablo will display a screen as shown below. Click the "Copy link" button to copy a link to your clipboard, which you can share with your tenant admin to request their approval. Once your tenant admin has approved, you can click the "Check consent" button to proceed.
