Overview
Yablo provides several options to help you efficiently search through your conversation history. You can simply type in keywords directly into the search bar, and Yablo will search across all parameters for matching terms. Alternatively, you can use advanced search to narrow down your results based on specific criteria. Yablo will promptly display the most relevant search results in the search dropdown for quick and easy access, allowing you to quickly locate the conversations you're looking for.
Start a search
To initiate a search in Yablo, click on the search field located at the top right of the screen. Start typing in your keywords, and you will see search suggestions populating the search dropdown. You can then select "Search for..." to view a comprehensive list of search results related to your keywords.
From the search dropdown, you have various options:
- Select one of the suggested top results to directly open the conversation.
- Select one of the suggested contacts to open that contact and its conversations.
- Select one of the suggested tags to get an overview of conversations related to that tag.
Additionally, you can choose "Advanced Search" to open the Advanced Search dialog, which allows you to specify specific search criteria for more precise search results.
Please note that you can also use the keyboard shortcut "/" to quickly initiate a search.
Narrow down search results
On the search results page, you can further narrow down your search results in various ways.
Search by inbox
By default, Yablo searches across all the inboxes you have access to. However, you can use the inbox selector in the toolbar to narrow down your search results based on your preferences. You can choose to search within your own inbox (My Inbox), the inbox you are currently viewing, or across all the inboxes you have access to.
Advanced search
To refine your search results further, you can click on the "Advanced search" button. This will open the Advanced Search dialog, where you can add specific search criteria such as "Assigned to," "Priority," and "Tags."
Include deleted conversations
Deleted conversations are not included in the default search results. However, if you want to include deleted conversations in your search, you can change the toggle in the search toolbar to include them. This allows you to search for and retrieve conversations that have been deleted, if needed.
