Overview
Although Outlook supports shared mailboxes, managing a shared mailbox with a team in Outlook can present several challenges, including:
-
Lack of visibility. When multiple people have access to a shared mailbox, it can be difficult to know who has read, responded to, or deleted a particular email. This can lead to confusion and duplication of effort.
-
Inefficient email management. With a shared mailbox, it can be difficult to prioritize and manage emails effectively. Without clear guidelines and processes, emails may be left unanswered, leading to missed opportunities or unhappy customers.
-
Lack of collaboration: In some cases, team members may need to collaborate on emails or share information related to a particular conversation. Without a clear process or tool for doing so, this can be difficult to manage.
Yablo is a collaborative inbox platform that provides several benefits for managing a shared mailbox with a team. Yablo provides features such as assignment and commenting, which allow team members to delegate emails and collaborate on responses directly within the platform. This helps to prevent duplicated efforts, reduce confusion, and ensure that emails are addressed quickly and effectively.
How to add a shared mailbox to Yablo?
You can easily incorporate a shared mailbox into Yablo by creating a new team inbox and linking the shared mailbox to it as a channel. When the channel is linked, any new emails sent to the shared mailbox will be displayed as conversations in the Yablo team inbox.
