Yablo will notify you of important events by sending you notifications. Notifications can appear both as email notifications as well as in-app notifications.
Email notifications
Email notifications are short email messages that are send to your inbox to notify you of important events (e.g., a reminder that you didn't get a response to a message that you sent).
Each email notification contains a link to the Yablo conversation. When you click that link, you get a preview of the conversation the notification belongs to. The preview also contains actions to:
- Open that conversation in Yablo.
- Open the email in Outlook (only available if you have that email in your inbox).
- Forward the email to your inbox.
Yablo tries to reduce the number of email notifications in your inbox by cleaning up older notifications when new notifications come in.
In-app notifications
In-app notifications appear at the top right of the screen. A counter indicates the number of unread notifications you have. Click the notification icon to get an overview of all your unread notifications. Select a notification to open the conversation that is linked with that specific notification. Notifications will be automatically marked as read once you open them.
Change notification settings
You can change your notification settings as follows:
- Click on your Yablo profile in the right corner.
- Open Settings.
- Change the settings when Yablo sends you certain notifications.
