To ensure efficient communication and avoid any missed messages, it's important to assign conversations to specific team members. Assigning conversations allows you to clearly identify the owner responsible for replying to a particular inquiry.
Each conversation can only be assigned to one user at a time.
Manually assign conversations
To assign a conversation to a team member, you select the Assign button in the toolbar of the conversation and select one of your team members. Once a conversation is assigned, the conversation appears in the Assigned to Me view in the left navigation of that user.
Unassign or reassign conversations
To change the assignment of a conversation, simply click on the current assignee's name at the top of the conversation. A dropdown menu will appear, giving you the option to choose "Unassigned" to remove the current assignment, or select a different teammate's name to reassign the conversation to them. This way, you can easily manage the ownership of conversations and ensure they are appropriately assigned within your team.
Auto assign on first reply
Yablo provides the option to automatically assign unassigned conversations to a teammate when that teammate sends the first outbound message in the conversation. This feature is disabled by default, but each user has the ability to enable it in their own user preferences.
