Overview
Tags provide a convenient way to track specific topics in your inbox and help you organize your boards by subject. You can easily add tags to conversations for better categorization and organization. Tags in Yablo are always shared. This means that all tags are visible to everyone on your team and show for your teammates on any conversations they have access to.
Tag conversations
To tag a conversation, simply click the Tag button in the toolbar of the conversation. You can then type the name of the tag you want to add in the search bar. If the tag does not exist, you have the option to create a new tag. You can add as many tags as you want to a conversation in Yablo.
All selected tags appear in the heading of the conversation.
Remove tags from conversations
To remove a tag from a conversation in Yablo, click on the tag in the heading of the conversation and select "Remove tag" from the dropdown menu.
Add tags to the sidebar
To easily access your tags, you can customize your sidebar to display the most relevant tags for you. Please note that this customization only applies to your personal sidebar and not to the rest of your team. To add tags to your sidebar, simply click the Add tag button and select the tags you want to include.
Open tags
You can easily view all conversations that are tagged with the same tag in Yablo. To do this, click on the tag that has been added to a conversation, and select "Open tag" from the dropdown menu. This will provide you with an overview of all conversations that are associated with that particular tag in Yablo.
Manage tags
As an admin, you can manage all tags created by your team. You can create new tags, import tags in bulk, rename and archive tags. You can manage tags in the Admin Console > Tags.
If you don't want to allow regular users to create new tags themselves, you can disable this option by using the "Users are allowed to create tags" toggle in the toolbar. If this option is disabled, only admins are able to create new tags using the Admin Console.
Please not the following:
- When you archive tags, users are no longer able to select and add these archived tags to conversations.
- When you rename a tag, existing conversations that are tagged with the renamed tag will still show the old name of the tag.
